Ratangad fort is a magnificent fort in the beautiful bhandardara region near Nashik(Nasik), it lies near harishchandragad and kalsubai peak. Ratangad lies 20 kms away from the bhandardara dam. Lashing rains for 2 days, extreme windy conditions and some exciting climbs made this a memorable hike. Ratangad fort is massive and climing down the steep fort stairs in windy, rainy day was a real thrill. There are only 2 caves on top where one can stay.
