The pic on this page is from National park in mumbai, also known as Borivali National park or Sanjay Gandhi National Park. A beautiful and vast forest in the heart of mumbai. Known for its greenery, flora fauna and wildlife Various birds, animals including panthers, reptiles and lots of species of plants beautify this place.

The Borivali National park is in middle of mumbai suburbs and hence it is easy to travel and spend some good peaceful time with nature. In rainy season it becomes a picnic place as people come to escape the heat and have fun in natural streams and water. The artistic Kanheri Caves also lie in heart of this national park.
