Drives to Dams and Lakes Supplying water to Mumbai

This was a drive to see all the dams and lakes supplying water to one of the biggest cities in the world, Mumbai. We planned to visit Bhatsa, Tansa, Upper Vaitarna (bigger than all other lakes combined), Vaitarna (Modak Sagar). We could not go over most of dams as access is denied from security perspective. We finally went to the grand and beautiful bhandardara dam which was overflowing. We also visited vihigaon falls near igatpuri, its considered as one of the best waterfalls in maharashtra
