Lakshadweep Islands: Pictures & Images

• SPORTS (The Society for Promotion of Nature Tourism and Sports), in collaboration with the Lakshadweep Administration, which offers eco-friendly tourism and recreational activities in the islands. The holiday packages of SPORTS are reasonably priced and include food, stay and watersports facilities. Their official website is LakshadweepTourism.com. I had opted for their coral reef package which takes you to 3 islands in a span of 5 days and costs 9000 - 13000 INR. For coral reef package, the travel and stay is over the ship Tipu Sultan. This ship travels weekly to the islands carrying tourists and locals.
• Via Air to an island which is costly and you are stuck on only 1 island. Also you need prior permission from indian government to stay.
• Star cruises which only takes to these islands for 1 day and is not that economical
