Gorakhgad Fort Trek

Gorakhgad is a small fort near Murbad, kalyan which we opted to trek this summer. Due to high summer temperatures trekking activites had subdued. But the itch to trek combined with the habitat of an insomniac city, we opted for a night trek. Gorakhgad is an easy yet extremely adventerous trek with steep narrow steps and climbs. For first timers it can be a very difficult trek. The only place to stay on top is a cave ajoining the cliff which gives some beautiful views at sunrise
