Ganesha Pictures 2007: Mumbai Visarjan/Immersion

These Ganesha Pictures are from the indian festival of Anant Chaturdashi which is the last day of the 10 day ganesha festival. The festival ends with immersion of Ganesha Idols into the sea or lakes. These pictures were taken at Mumbai on Girgaum Chowpatty(Beach) where almost a million people throng to say goodbye to their favourite god and chant them to come ASAP next year.
