This pic is from Mumbai Pune Expressway,a Six lane concrete highway build with international standards which connects the commercial and cultural capitals of India.
It is another landmark of modern India. Notable features like complete fencing, average speed of 80kmph, provision of Petrol pumps / motels / workshops / Toilets / Emergency Phones and Breakdown Vans etc make this a very unique highway in india.
Reduction in Distance, thus travel time and fuel and thus pollution are the other added benefits.
