Nokia N73 in India Vs iPhone: Why Nokia is better

With the buzz of Apple iPhone in india i thought of buying the iPhone, i tried using the Apple iPhone initially and I was impressed by iPhone's huge and beautiful touch screen and coolness factor.

I was in a dilemma to buy N73 Vs iPhone in India and here are the reasons why I went for N73 Music Edition.

Pls understand that my reasoning is based on my main requirements from a mobile phone and out of the box (inbuilt) functionalities

• Though iPhone works in India with all mobile networks, iPhone in India is not legally sold, hence unlocking it makes the warranty useless
• iPhone battery cannot be replaced, it has to be send to the factory to be changed.
• With few people having iPhones it will be very difficult to charge the phone on the go like airports, malls, your office etc. YOU NEED TO PLAN YOUR CHARGING OR CARRY THE CHARGER WITH YOU ALL THE TIMES.
• Bluetooth can only be used for hands free and not for data transfer to PC
• iPhone had not so good reviews about its speaker phone.
• Forwarding SMS is not possible
• You can search contacts only on the first character. So if you want to search for Amitabh you can only type A and then scroll to search whereas in nokia you can type more than 1 character
• NO 3G
• NO Video Recording
• NO Voice recording
• NO FM Radio
• Still Camera has limited functionality. N73 has shooting modes, flash modes, continuous modes and has 2 cameras, the other one can be used as webcam (I will upload pics form N73 soon)
• Inferior camera compared to N73
• As iphone has a large size and as you can only use fingers on the big screen, it is difficult to reach at top corners like its hard for a thumb of an average Indian guy to reach the top left corner. He then has to use both hands and using mobile with 2 hands is not most people are used for especially when you are carrying something else in your other hand or you are in some public transport

Hopefully all the above will be sorted out in next versions of iPhone and iPhone is avaialble legally in india
